Information we collect
When you contact us or make a booking, we may collect your name, contact details, address, booking dates, payment and booking records, and information needed to care for your cat, such as vaccination, diet, medication and emergency-contact details.
If you use our instant quote form, we process the dates, number of cats, selected extras and any postcode entered to calculate an estimate, including travel distance when requested. Name and email are optional. Pressing Calculate creates a quote record even if you leave those fields blank. If you ask for a quote by email, we use the email address you provide to send it.
Our website and contact forms may also collect technical information such as browser/device details and cookie or security data. The site uses cookies and services such as Google reCAPTCHA to help protect forms. Google Maps services may process a postcode when used for a route calculation.
How we use information
We use personal information to answer enquiries, prepare estimates, manage bookings and payments, provide care for cats, contact you about your booking, keep business and tax records, protect our website and prevent misuse. We may also use website traffic information to understand and improve the site. We will send information about offers only where permitted; you can ask us to stop marketing messages at any time.
Our legal grounds
Depending on the purpose, we use information because it is needed to take steps at your request or perform a booking contract, to meet legal obligations such as record-keeping, or for our legitimate interests in operating and improving the cattery and website. This can include our booking provider, website host, and service providers used for email, maps, website security, analytics or quote records. How long we keep information
We keep booking, payment and business records for as long as needed to manage the booking and meet legal, accounting and tax requirements. We keep enquiry and quote records only for as long as reasonably needed to respond, administer the estimate and maintain our business records. We review information and delete or securely dispose of it when it is no longer needed, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us for a copy of your personal information, to correct it, or in appropriate circumstances to erase it, restrict its use, object to its use or receive it in a portable format.
